Matthew is an Award-Winning Audio Engineer, Sound Designer, Mixer, and Composer who has worked across a variety of podcasts, In recent years, he has provided full-service podcast production and post-production duties on shows for Wondery, Airship, Noiser, and Evergreen, as well as 20+ branded podcasts for global corporations and organizations, with millions of downloads. Matthew has experience with project management, team management, client services, recording, editing, audio repair, mixing, sound design, and original composition. As Supervising Sound Designer at Airship, Matthew has fully sound designed, edited, mixed, and supervised hundreds of episodes from the renowned American Criminal History Daily, American Scandal, Business Movers, American History Tellers, The Real History Of, and many more. As Lead Audio Engineer at FRQNCY Media, Matthew was tasked with architecting, strategizing, and implementing all production and post-production processes, strategies, and best-practices while providing support and mentorship for all departments, from content strategy and production to recording and sound engineering. As a leader, Matthew prioritizes team culture, a mindset of openness, perpetual learning, and growth. He values the core principles of taking great care in all the fine details of his team’s work processes, facilitating the freedom and space to explore, grow, enjoy work, and ultimately access extremely high levels of creativity. He is a New York University alumnus, having spent nearly two decades in the Big Apple producing, performing, and touring with a multitude of bands, and devoting thousands of hours to shaping sounds and honing performances in the studio. He also has a Masters in Energy Management and Sustainability from the New York Institute of Technology.

Matthew is an expert (20+ years) in all the relevant audio production software, from Reaper, Pro Tools, and Logic, to Izotope RX. He has thousands of hours of experience with dialogue editing and pacing, audio repair, composition, creative use of music and sound design, and best practices with respect to loudness / mastering.
